Scaling Up the Atmospheric Landscape

Join for a three day studio workshop on painting the atmospheric landscape and scaling up a small study to a larger work. We’ll look at the elements that make a good painting: value, composition, design, texture, and edges. Students will learn to assess their own work in progress to make a more compelling painting.
Mornings will feature instruction and a demonstration; afternoons will be devoted to student work and individual teaching. Tuition includes a full color 40-page handbook for each student. Fee is $450; 50% refunds available for cancellations by 11/1/23.
